Set up was very easy. Be careful if you are light sensitive epileptic, the light starts a strobe like flash for pairing mode. The light is bright enough if it is in the white light tones. The color light option could be brighter. I was anticipating the light to be taller for bigger spaces. It will do. It is very sleek and you can program it to have a schedule to turn on in any color you want at whatever time you want. One drawback — I wish it connected to Apple HomeKit which it currently does not. Will there be a software update? Hope so!Not impressed with the quality. Works okay so far, easy to setup with Alexa.Idk why they're asking about thickness.Anyways it's an ok lamp to frustrating garbage at times. The amount of time I've spent fighting the thing and the app is absurd. I've owned it near 6 months now. It works fine 65% of the time then disconnects randomly and wont turn off via the touch button either. It'll randomly turn on at night or swap colors too. Half the time the app doesn't correctly control it too.Dont buy.Not as tall as advertised but everything else is perfectI absolutely love this lamp! Easy to assemble. I love the convenient phone app. I’m tired of all of these different remotes.Simple assembly, worked as expected with easy integration with network. Unfortunately it had a loud hum/buzz from disc. Not something I could stand while trying to read or work at desk.Complete failure. There's only one button on the whole lamp which does nothing. Was somehow by accident able to setup properly for a few weeks and it worked sporadically through the app. It now just blinks on and off. I can't even figure out how to get to the bulb out to salvage something before throwing this junk in the trash.I agree with Chris. I too have had this lamp for a week and have been experiencing the same issue. I wanted to like this product but it seems like they rushed this lamp. I’ve contacted Globe and they wanted me to reset the lamp. I’ve reset the lamp numerous times. It does the same thing. I’m very disappointed. I’m went ahead and returned it and ordered a different lamp.Recibi el producto 4 días antes de la fecha estipulada, No he podido configurarlo a la aplicación, alumbra bien, buen material, el instructivo viene en ingles y en otro idioma, No viene es español, sencilla de armar.Si logro configurarla les informo, saludos desde la CDMX.Ya logré configurarla a la aplicación, cuando empieza a parpadear la lámpara en ese momento se sincroniza con la aplicación, me gusto mucho las tonalidades que maneja, puedes programar cuando quieres apagarla y cuando encienda, también la configure a Google home y muy bien no tuve problemas, las tonalidades son muy buenas, totalmente recomendada.It's really glitchy. It is difficult to use. It changes colours on its own. The app doesn't work properly. I have had this lamp for over 6 months and it's annoying. I often find it on hours after I have turned it off. I don't recommend this lamp at all. I don't think this company should be selling them as they are extremely defected iveI really like my new lamp. I just wish you could get the white colour a bit dimmer. I got it so I wouldn't see the reflection of the lamp on my TV. I used to use a Globe Smart bulb in a normal lamp and could make the white quite a bit dimmer than this lamp. I am using light purple or gold for the same effect now but would prefer a dim white.This lamp was super easy to assemble-simply screw the rods together and stand it up. It paired seamlessly with the globe app and all functions work perfectly, (full spectrum RGB, schedules, and scene colour transitions) I was pleasantly surprised that it has a physical on off switch as well- one that does not override app control. This means that even if I physically turn off the lamp, I can turn it back on from the app. Overall beyond impressed and will definitely purchase more!It seems this company is hit and miss but I have their smart bulbs and now the lamp and they work just fine for me, I wouldn't ignore bad reviews though.The lamp is great only issue is the base has little weight making it top heavy so that's annoying and for some reason it was overly dusty out of the box
