It's been forty four years since I first knew 'The Ian Campbell Folk Group'. This C.D. awakened all the old memories of Tuesday nights at the pub and later Thursday nights at The Digbeth hall. Both were venues for "The Jug of Punch". Ian's parody on an old song said "The only place you can put it right is The Jug O Punch on a Thursday night".Glad to know that their music lives on and it's great to relive the memories of some marvelous music. Some say that Rock 'n' Roll will never die, but folk music has gone for much longer.
