We initially had the small version, but upgraded to the medium when the small one was 'indefinitely borrowed' from our site while we were at the lake. We are van campers. The small one worked well, but was definitely more tent-sized, having a low, small surface for games or computers while you are sitting on the ground. The medium size was perfect for beverages, games, snacks, etc. between two camp chairs. It shares the same well thought out design, stowing, light weight, attractiveness and utility is the small version. We love it.Do note, that light weight, small stowed footprint, and easy setup (like 30 seconds) were definitely the design priorities. This is NOT a table that you would ever want to stand on (i.e. it is not gorilla-proof), but is perfect for light-duty work at your campsite. The product does seem well made and is light, so in general it will do what we need. HOWEVER the one we got was not the same as what was advertised. In both the literature that came with it and the description on Amazon page the table top comes with inbuilt elastic tabs to keep the table neat for storage and carrying. IT DOES NOT COME WITH THESE TABS instead it came with a single telco tab that you need to wrap around it.While this isn't the worst thing in the world, this will get lost in about 30 seconds of getting to the beach and now the table flaps around while I try and carry everything (chairs/bags/towels) etc from the beach to my car.I am annoyed as these elastic tabs were one of the reasons I chose this table in particular.I bought both the Large and the Medium version for a family camping trip. So far the Medium version survived but the Large version bent badly the first time it was used. I set a cast iron skillet towards the outside edge while I was doing meal prep (slicing onions) on a cutting board on the other side of the table and I noticed as I worked that the table became more and more wobbly. I started looking at the table and it was very clear that one of the aluminum cross pieces bent and was causing the now tripod table to have a see-saw effect between opposite corner legs, with at least one corner always being about an inch off the ground. I think that the Large version is fundamentally flawed due to its size, which allows for more leverage to be placed at a more extreme angle on support legs that use the same diameter tubing for the leg structure. While I was able to perform the same task with the Medium size version of the table the next night, albeit with less surface area. I am returning the Large version ASAP. I am taking the Medium version out on another camping trip next weekend and I will update my review afterwards.UPDATE: The Medium version is much stronger than the Large version due to the geometry, but it is still not the sturdiest thing in the world. We went camping out of a kayak and minimum gear was important, but this Medium size table made made our little camping trip a bit more luxurious. I would not trust this table with anything over 25 lbs. Upgrading my review to 3-stars because the Large version was still terribly weak.TLDR: Large version bent badly due to poor design. Medium version survived first two trips, still just OK.This table is great for camping! So lightweight, but nice and sturdy when assembled. Assembly takes about 10 seconds! Our enjoyment of this simple, affordable accessory has been way beyond our expectations, all you need are a couple of nice folding chairs for a perfect campsite relaxation area!My idea of a folding table is the legs fold in and the top folds down. This folding table is 2 inch skates that folds out to form a table top that sits on top of legs that folds out. The height of the legs is NOT adjustable and the finished height is about coffee table height. The leg stand that the top sits on must be held in order to move the table. Once you get used to it, it is a nice table.Small size when packed was important, and this fit the bill. Easy to assemble and held up for the 5 nights on the river. It's a little tricky at first, but once you figure out how to securely place the 'loose' supports, it's great. It's low, but I knew that going in and it's much better than the ground! Size was prefect for my needs - food prep, staging/holding pots/pans, and holding 2 plates of cooked food. Didn't use it for cooking, so don't know how it holds up to that.Yeah a bit short. Otherwise worked for wha I wanted. I just hate sitting on the floor lol. Worth the price. :)We love this table! Our family uses it often. My husband takes it on kayaking trips. It’s easy to use, super light and sturdy.
