The way this unit goes together so that screws are hidden is impressive engineering. I had never put any furniture together before and my husband was a great coach! If you've put Ikea furniture together, he says you can put this together with ease. We assembled it on our island and that helped make it easier to put it together. I changed out the knobs with glass facetted knobs to match our decor and it made it look like we paid a lot more for it than we did.This is a story with a good ending.We purchased this console table for an accent wall and it turned out to be a great and lovely addition to our remodeled apartment. We read some of the reviews which mentioned assembly challenges. I found the assembly instructions clear and easy to follow.My only issue was with the shelf & side panel bolts and lock nuts. I ran into a few sets that were not threaded well (not cross threaded) on both sides of the lock nut. I should have checked that all eight sets threaded completely through.When tightening one side of the bottom shelf, the bolt and lock nut felt tight, but was not completely seated. I then tightened a bit more which resulted in the lock nut rotating, in turn splitting the bottom support bar. It turned out three more sets of bolts would not completely thread with the lock nuts.I contacted Convenience Concepts and spoke with their awesome Illinois customer service team as mentioned in the assembly instructions and they could not have been more gracious and supportive. I explained my issue with the bolts not completely treading through the lock nuts and the split support bar.The customer service team confirmed my product color and within a day shipped out my parts via 3-day mail. They sent me a very supportive email with the shipping information and tracking number.The parts arrived with eight pairs of bolts and lock nuts already threaded. The nuts/bolts and replacement support bar were very well packaged and the console table is now well constructed and a great fit for our home.In their email to me, Convenience Concept stated “100% Customer Satisfaction is our main goal.” I was very impressed with their customer service and support. And would completely agree that they have met their goal. It’s reassuring to experience this again.I bought this table 4 years ago and I still love it. It’s in great shape. There are no chips, no visual wear. There is a little bowing in the drawer. My cats jump on and off it all the time and sit on it and the table is still strong and sturdy. 10/10 recommendWas missing some parts with the initial shipment. Contacted customer service and rec'd the parts in a few days. Super helpful.Table is sturdy and well built. Assembly is a little tricky for one person, but directions were relatively good. all the hardware was there and in good condition.Overall happy with product.I bought 2 of these and a taller one for my dining room, they are great for the price. They match my design perfect and they hold a lot of stuff. They are easy to put together, just follow the directions. I did it by myself and it was fine. The company is great as well, they answered my questions very quickly.I'm very happy with how this console table turned out! And the color is much lighter than it appeared to me on my phone, which is great actually. It's perfect for the space and was very easy to put together. Highly recommend.I just love this table. It is very rich black and looks great in our living room. My living room is long but narrow because of the bump out for the stairs to the second floor…so every inch counts. I was looking for a window table to place under my television, to hold my cable box/Wi-Fi tower and to hide wires. I found this one and it’s perfect for the price. It is sturdy, looks lovely and doesn’t look cheap at all. My husband is handy so he was able to put the table together, but the directions are a little confusing. The parts are numbered…so it makes reading the directions a little easier. But if I tried to put it together myself…I wouldn’t do well. I read reviews so I was prepared for this challenge. - The best advice I read is not to tighten the screws too much so not to strip the screws. My husband said that was the best advice, so I’m passing that info on here in this review. I’m a happy customer. ?This console table is really beautiful and I think the quality is fantastic. The only reason I gave 4/5 is due to the amount of pieces that need to be assembled. It wasn't difficult to build by any means, however, it was a little time consuming (1-1.5hrs). Having to build it all is probably what keeps the price point lower and I would absolutely purchase it again.This product is decent, however, the drawer doesn't open properly. It keeps getting stuck and we have to use some force to open it. Easy to assemble but the material dents easily. Also, the depth is short, which suits our space, but very hard to find runners to fit. Standard runners are bigger than this table. In our opinion, it is expensive for the quality.Overall I still love the way it looks. Be careful not to over tighten the screws as the wood cracks very easy. Not happy about that but luckily it was in a spot you can't see. Another issue was the wooden dowel things, one was way to thick, I had to cut it down to fit in the hole.Took some time to assemble but all the pieces were present. Love the blue color. Very sturdy. Have gotten many compliments on the product. Will definitely purchase more products from the company. Well worth the money. Very happy with purchase.This is a really nice sofa/console table, just what we were looking for. My husband put this together in no time.He's getting to be a real pro at these projects, LOL. It fits perfectly behind our sofa and has a top drawer that is great for storage and well as 2 shelves. It's very stylish and sturdy. We are very happy with it.Sturdy and a great deal ! Was sceptical about buying a previously returned item , but I am happy that I did . There is a very small, indent with no broken paint which is hardly noticeable! And less than half the price new .
